Forget the 3rd one on the list. It is difficult both to type and to pronounce.

I think mywhatever.com is the best. But if you could give us a synonym it might help us understand if it makes sense or not. For ex myelephant.com makes no sense but myhouse.com makes perfect sense.

try searching for a closely secondary keyword terms..

Because most site owners prefer to register .com rather than any other extension. I see a lot of other TLD's that are ranking very well on some popular niche's. It is just a matter of optimization. ;)

By registering the .net you will lose traffic to the .com. try to find a second related word, then register it like this

whatever-xxxx.com - when the 'xxxx' is your other word.

Or try emailing the owners of whatever.com - they may sell it...

I would definately say keep with the .com of something centered around your business name. There is several great tools available and I'm thinking of one that might help you out really well in your situation. It is nameboy (nameboy.com) and you could put in your company name and a secondary name as well and it will tell you available names that hopefully you can use for your business. It also has a neat checkbox you can check to do ryming words with your company as well. I am also putting together a great resource for everyone to see all the services available out on the web. You can check that out at froggydomains.com/links.asp

    thanks, Jonathan

In my opinion you would do better going after any one of the following .com's then going after a .org or .net

    .com is King! :)

    PlanetWhatever.com

    WhateverInc.com

    OnlineWhatever.com

    WhateverCorner.com

    SiteWhatever.com

(all the above names were available at the time of posting)

    Hope that helps.
