just two things to get you started make sure your images contain your keywords and are in a useful keyword directory example /web-design/web-design-and-development.gif /web-design/web-design-development.gif /web-design/web-design.gif /web-design/web development.gif Also make sure all your images contain the alt="" tag with your keyword(s)/key phrase inside the quotes. Hope this gets you started
As what I know, search engine can't read images that's why other are using alt tag and put keywords on it
hi to all. Concerning the image optimization, you can do it with variety of tools. Photoshop (recommend), Corel Draw sute solutions, Macromedia Fireworks and many more. You have to focus on the size of your site in general, or if it is a big one, focus on the size of the elements in the first page (html's, images, flash, music, videos, etc.) Always have in mind to have an "easy loading" first page. It is the initial factor to attract attention after the users come.
and also, about the SEO part: there is variety of techniques how to optimize your site. keyword optimization, onpage and offpage design, etc... I will start a thread on keyword optimization and I can notify you when I do it so that you can learn more in this area. Feel free to ask more in depth questions about the other areas too. regards
Except ALT attributes and keywords in the names of your images, it would be great to provide direct link to the file, of course with an optimized alt attribute and actual anchor text (and from a high PR page). It should be like this: <a href="imagename.jpg"><img src="imagename.jpg" alt="keyword phrase"><keyword phrase in anchor text></a>
yes, concerning the keywords in the text, it is a good idea, but donot over do it! For Google will not make a difference if you have your keywords in 2-3 or in 5-6 places. 2-3 is even better if you put them in the right place. But for Google will make a difference if you have your keywords 10 times in one normal size page. not to mention more times. It looks spammy! regards
use keywords in the image file name & alt tag. Also surround the images with the keyword optimized text.
* use human readable file name * use images alt tags and title tags. these are the thinks that you can do for your images optimizations

Another tip - don't use the height and width attributes to artificially resize your images Either resuze them manually in Photoshop/GIMP etc or use an auto-thumbnailer. Also, don't use a high compression on jpgs as artefacts look terrible on a webste Hope that helps
Add alt tags on images. As of now, Google indexes faster and your images may get higher chances to be on the top of google's image search. Image searches gets high amount of traffic from your generated images.
good thinking. You can also use the google image search for your goals Yes, they are referenced fast, but also when people will click on the image, automatically traffic is made to your web site thus increasing your traffic. how are you doing up to now? were our posts helpfull? regards
