Its not about google, - is not a user friendly thing. but yes search engines would love it for keywords.

Your targeted keyword in the domain is not that helpful when it comes to Google ..!

However, it will help your website ranks better in both Yahoo and MSN ;)

It's all about backlinks, and the only way for a domain name to become helpful for your website ranking in Google...
Is if people started to link to your website site using your domain name as an anchor text, keeping in mind your keyword is in the domain name ;)

You should pick a domain name that is easy for people to remember - because they are the ones that will be using the site.

Do not place keywords in your domain names if the domain name is your official company name. Place them after like company-name.com/my-keywords. If you want your keywords in your domain name, I suggest that you register a new domain name. Usually, having keywords in the domain name is good for products. For example: hifun-word-games.com.

do you mean hyphen between keywords? answer is, not matter

but if I were you, I will take them both, for brand protection. I will make the one with hyphen a satellite site to increase main site rank etc
