I dont remember filling any during signup. Part of my payment went to Locked status and im still waiting for the first cheque. Maybe they'll have me fill up too very soon?

Adnewbie: CJ is Commission Junction. It's for affiliate marketing.

Stick with Adsense and Chitika for now. CJ's commission-based so it might be a little harder to start with. :D

Sure! May I know roughly how long did it take you to generate decent earnings from Adsense and Chitika? (as of now, I have $22.30 after close to 2 months, obviously not too good yet.)

Hmm...cant tell u how long since there's too many factors. Such as how much time u put in, how much money u invest, how many sites you build, how good are your contents, how niche are your topics, how good is your SEO, and etc.

But you have to know that this is a long-term effort, so your work may not pay off until months or even years later. But at the same time, when you read about others' success stories right here on DP, you'll know that with effort, you can do it too. :D

Thanks for the advice. Are you doing this full time? I'm contemplating quitting my job (no satisfaction) and doing online business, including writing/selling software, joining affiliate programmes, selling hosting services, and consulting...

Do you have any advice for me?

kniveswood, I'm working too, but dreaming of doing businesses online, including online publishing and participating in affiliates programmes. I'm trying to build up some sites now... still figuring things out. Hope you can help me :) I like your gadgets and fish sites.
