Hi everyone, I live in Peru right now but am still working on my SEO/backlink business. Hoping to get involved in this community and hopefully help out and make some new contacts. I looked over the forum rules and the "infractions" section is kind of vague to me. I would eventually like to post the services I offer but after reading that I am almost afraid to for fear of an infraction. Especially since I won't know what the infraction is for. I am hoping to get to know some of you and hopefully be of help with sharing some of the things I've learned along the way. Regards, Peggie
Welcome Peggie - I would like to visit Peru, and it sounds ideallic living there and doing SEO! So yeah I have 3 lovely infractions on my account, one was for complaints about my first post which was trying to broker a deal but people thought I was a con-artist! Oops. I soon learned that having a bit of itrader under your belt helps people believe you. Another was when I just agreed with something someone said but it wasn't substantial. What annoyed me is the agreement was based on visiting a site and spending an hour watching a video - but DP didn't seem to care. My final recent one was doing the time honoured popcorn post (internationally accepted on many other forums) to signify that I was interested in reading more about how the thread was going to develop. A bang like a getting a parking ticket whilst helping an old lady across the road, the infraction came as I tried to support a fellow DP member. Shame
Hi, friend you are welcome, In this forum every backlinking service is allowed except social bookmarking service. Just choose right category and don't spam. Happy business
Hi everyone, Thanks for welcoming me. So my question then is: where do I put my link? I do backlinks for people. Do I put it in "services" or "link sales"? I'd like to keep the infractions down, but from reading a few posts on here some will be inevitable. I really don't like the way they are handled, but c'est la vie. It is what it is. I'm still real happy to be here and hope to learn a lot. Yes, Peru is nice...and extremely cheap. We are living off $300-400 a month (depending on how much Brahma we drink! LOL ) including all expenses so it has been a nice break on the pocketbook. The internet is OK. Adequate, let's just put it that way. Haven't been to Machu Picchu yet. Our daughter is only 4 and the altitude is rough on the little ones so we're going to wait a little on that one. Our friends took their 8 year old up there. He was in pretty bad shape so they had to descend. Bummer. Lots of history here and things to see and do. It's been a great experience so far. And it helps that we work over the internet (my husband is an internet marketer) so we can continue to make money as we go. Anyway, thanks for answering my questions. PP ...."Peggie from Peru"
