Hello everyone !!! Nik's here from BK, NY. It's 2:00 AM atm in Brooklyn and i decided to give it a shot at exploring new chapter, idea behind domains/web development. I am very new to this, however i registered a couple of domains already ), about a week ago is when i parked my first domain and then few more ))) My experiences with domain related things so far: Registered my domains with godaddy learned that you don't have to pay over $12 for a year of registration .com with godaddy and actually can find a code to pay a little more then $8 for a year of registration. Started of parking/selling with SEDO, however managed to get banned for "unnatural traffic", did not get clear response/evidence of my violations and switched over to BODIS after parking with BODIS it seemed like i wasn't getting any traffic stats so i emailed them asking if BODIS were still in business, i received a response from BODIS in more then 48 hours, however by that time i moved to AFTERNIC and now i am there for about 3 days, so far i like AFTERNIC just because they do have a phone support that so far were able to answer my questions and i did not have to wait a while to speak with them. Reading a lot about domain selling and parking income seems like i might of made mistakes purchasing domains that i purchased, however maybe not ) It seems like developing a site and then selling has much more value then just buying a domain name and then trying to resell it. So i am thinking about learning photoshop and dreamweaver. I know a little of HTML since i took a class in high school and thinking on improving my HTML skill-set. I have some what of entrepreneurial mind, i am about to get my bachelors in February 2013. Double major BBA Finance and Investments and second major in Business Management and Finance (BS), recently i was earning some money while attending college mainly in stock investments, ebay, craigslist and some internships. I have a great idea for a start up however first i want to get some basic knowledge in the field so i am here. ))) I am also looking for opportunities, send me a messege if you're looking for a solid crew member, i am open to discussions. )) Glad to be here !
