Hi all, A little belatedly: I am the owner of www.links.com, and after many years of neglect, I have decided to develop this site. I have about 35 years experience with technology. Originally doing mainframe work, and later became a consultant in relational databases and client/server and Internet technologies. Right now, I am experimenting with different ideas for developing Links.com. My current idea is a Best of Best site, where I blog about the best sites that I can find in each of twnety-four categories. The idea has merit, but I believe that the site can do better if I can grab onto the right idea. I am currently looking for technical assistance, to work on upgrading the site, here in Chicago. Hopefully I am sucessful in finding the right person I am looking for. Any comments on links.com is of course always welcomed. If you have a high quality site, I would love to hear about it. Links.com has a PR4 at this time (hopefully I do not suffer from the fact that it was parked for quite some time), and listings are of course free. Hi Rich, Great domain name, nice starting point of PR4, alexa TR of 292k. I think that just being a blog might be limiting yourself a bit unless you're going to have writers submitting mulitple content everyday? So are you going to just be writing the articles yourself? I'm a relative newbie to internet marketing so my advice is cheap Good luck, p.
Hi, I realize I am limiting the site right now. There are many directions I can go, which is why I am seeking some strong creative/programming assistance in Chicago. For now, I will probably be doing the moderating, but I may seeking additional assistance should this idea grow. Thanks for your comment, Rich
