    Hi all,
I'm a writer of Early Childhood and Family History how-to books plus a junior novel recently published. I'm brand new to forums like this so it's all very exciting! Just a quick question ... what are the points for? Apparently I have 30 and can work towards gaining more but I'm not sure why.
    Thanks
    HelenV

    Hi Helen

The points are pretty irrelevant - they're just something built into the forum software. What does count is "likes" - when you post something useful, funny etc people who are already "established" can give you likes. Get 3 different people on board and you get to be "established" too and then you can like other people and start threads in our Buy/Sell/Trade area. Nothing to stop you venturing in there in the meantime and checking out what's on offer. Just use a "conversation" to send a private message if you want to buy.

Great to have another West Islander here, just such a shame you'll be losing at the footy on Sunday!

Thanks for the information. I will certainly keep exploring the site, as a librarian I do love a bit of research!
Just another quick question, are there any early childhood professionals on this site. I would like to pick a few brains
    Thanks
    Helen V
