Hi folks, travelchor.com is this a good domain name for travel deals site?

Hi all you good folks out there

I am planning to start a travel deals website. And the domain i already have is travelchor.com

chor means thief in hindi.

The idea is to position the "steal the deal" in the user's mind. Do you think this is usable?

Suggest you to opt for other domain name.

 

i don't think it could be a good domain for your website because Google recently launched it's EMD (Exact Match Domain) update and targeting the poor exact match domain sites. And the update may harm your website because it's a new website.

 

I think its a good one, which countries will you be targeting ? as Google tighten the algos with spamy exact match domains then this is still a very good domain for 1 it has travel in the title, which will attract searchers and 2 it won't get penalized as maybe something like traveldeals.com would , yip its pretty cool go for it

 

Honestly, the domain could be interpreted as scammy. If theif comes into your head while your about to make a purchase then would you be less inclined to buy?

 

On my personal point of view, it's a good domain to start for. Why? For there's the "travel" keyword on the domain. And it will surely help a lot on getting traffic from search engines.
