Hi just wanted to post a quick introduction here. I've lurked for a long time but just started buying some services in the marketplace. This really is a great forum! I've been doing web development for about 6 years - most of the time self employed. Ran a business with about 6 employees up until april of this year. I sold my share and am managing PPC/SEM as well as some web dev. for a new company. In the process of diversifying my own income. I own a lot of smaller websites which I am looking to promote and increase earnings on to help shield myself from a bit of the nastiness in the market right now. My dream of course is to build up enough that I can do my own businesses full time. I know I am late to the game and I've missed several fantastic opportunities by not seeing what really needed done. I hope participating in a forum like this will keep my head in the game. It's tough working with people that 'dont get it'...
