I have a blog in blogger.com . Can anyone please tell me how can i or what html command should i put in order to increse the width of the blog. So that it looks like a webpage rather than a slim text blog as it seems right now...

actual html tag help would be appreciated.. thanks

There isn't a straight forward tag for this - the box is probably created by a table so if you find the first <table> tag (probably soon after the <body>) you need to increase the value of the width="" attribute. This could be as a percentage or in pixels.

you can align images in your posts the same way you would with text. If you are trying to move images inthe side bar you need to do it in the template html.

You need ot be really careful with blogger as it is very easy to mess up and very difficult to put right again.

Have you thought of using a self hosted version of word press. I started using a little while back and it's so much better then blogger.

If you are interested in word press let me know. I can show you how to host one for free on a free web host and help you set it up.

    Good luck.
