Hi, I'm a newbie and I have an important question. Last night I had a sale (according to google's conversion tracking) on one of the clickbank's products I'm promoting as an affiliate, but it didn't generate any comission for me. I know you're thinking that it can't be, but this is what happened: 1. After promoting a product for awhile, and seeing that it was profitable, I listed my own domain for it, copiedthe source of the original site to mine and altered the code of the order buttons. My site looks exactly like the original site, but the order buttons' HTML now read something like: 1.myaffname_vendor.pay.clickbank.... Trust me, it works for most parts. When the visitor clicks on the order butoon, the sale registers for me (my aff nickname appears at the buttom of the order page). 2. Yesterday I had a sale but got no money. Then I discovered that if the visitor had visited the original site before and then went to mine, they still had the original cookie planted in their computer. That causes the sale to be attributed to the affiliate who directed them to the original site. 3. How can overcome this? I saw many copycat sites for other products who do the same. 4. Should my domain just redirect the visitor to the original site? Does google accept something like that as I am running an adwords campaign? 5. I would appreciate any remarks and suggestions. Thanks
