    Dicetomatoe,

I maybe a newbie to this forum, but have been making money online for 4 years now. A couple of things you might want to know if you are knew to the online e-commerce.

    1. Don't fall for all the high traffic options that are available (traffic exchange programs). There is not magic bullet. Just link, banner, and button exchanges, Search Engine Optimization, and hard work.

    2. Search Engine optimization and link exchanges will eat up all your time, but if done correctly can bring you over 300 perfectly targeted hits per day within 2 years.

    3. Just keep plugging away and if you do make sales you can be succesful with time. If you conversion ratio is high in the beginning, than even with high traffic you should look for a product or service with a lower conversion ratio. (one of my sites is 1-100, and another is 1-300 (but has high profit margin). (I have 5 sites only 2 are e-commerce ready, 2 others are building, and the last site is just traffic generation to my other sites).

    4. Make sure you offer a product or service that is in demand, or has a niche. Mine are niche and in demand. If you can find this combination, you will do well!

Hope this helps, I do know what I am talking about. I make a living online. What ideas are the thinking of (maybe I can help a little)?
