hey, new here

    i was just wondering what career majors one would have to take in college to work with web design later on... i thought it would be Computer Science... and with Business Admin, what exactly do they do...

    Well business courses never hurt, but as far as web design and design in general I think a degree in art is probably the best. I can't speak for all colleges, but where I went, they just didn't offer much in the way of web design, whether it be a business degree or art degree or computer science.

    If it were me, I'd just visit forums, tutorial sites, etc...learn all you can yourself about web design and get a business degree.

    It's been my experience that most either don't have a degree or had a degree in something totally different pertaining to web design.

    If you're looking at Design at all, Art major would be the best in my opinion. You'll learn about design theory, colors, etc...
