Hey Link Masters - Questions on One-Way Links

Discussion in 'Link Development' started by webgirl, Mar 26, 2007.

I've hired some folks from GAF and elance to work on my one way linking campaign. There were alright. Im looking to work with someone who is pretty darn good. I paid $3 for permanent PR3+ links in relevant sites. I also want to work with someone on a long term, on-going basis. I need 100-200 links per month for my sites.

Do you guys have any recommendations/advice?

These prices like $3 for permanent PR3+ links in relevant sites are very funny :D

You can't get quality links in what ever niche for that money, only if you are good hub then you get good links.

I recommend just contacting sh*t loads of website owners with middle range PR. Kiss their butts, everyone loves to be put ona pedestal.

$3 for relevant links is peanuts. If you really want your links to work for you then probably you need to invest a bit more. You dont need to buy 200 links for your sites, even 50 links can work wonders if they are really relevant to your site's content.

You get what you pay for!

It surely proves from your post that you are already on a look-out for a better resource then $3 guy/company.

With link building - which is very sensitive for a website -don't play or go for a cheap resource lest your website gets flagged in Google for whatever reason if safe line is crossed.

You need to have a list of free and paid directories for you to obtain that kind of number. info[dot]vilesilencer[dot]com is one good site for directory lists.

If you are looking to get 100-200 links back to your sites a month, I would suggest that you follow a plan that will enable you to achieve this on a regular basis. If you get hundreds of links quickly to your sites then you do no more work on this, Google and co will red flag your sites.
It is better to say go for 50 on a regular basis than get 200 quickly and then 5 or 10 every month. Depending on the number of sites you have, you must be careful. Google for example knows that a new site is normally not able to get hundres of links in a few weeks.

    200 x $3 = $600

Now for $600/month you can buy a bunch of PR6-7 or even one or two PR8 links from related websites that will probably do you more good than hiring someone to do who know what they do. On top of that, if you get up to PR 6 or 7 the next update you can sell 10 links or so and cover most of your expenses. Thats what i would do.

    Hi V7n,
If what u said is true, then why not everyone buying PR7/8 links insteads of spending thousands of dollars for link building. Link building is an art, that too getting on-topic, themed links is not an easy one. However, it is very much possible provided the site has good content and should be useful to the traffic that visit the site/

I have done this recently for a site building links from PR3To PR6 .Ofcourse the site is a good one. Link building building cannot be done overnight, slow and steady method one has to adopt. Certainly one can collect relevant links over a period of time. One has to spend lots of time in searching for those links. Paid listings are temporary in nature , whreas relevant links are permanent and healthy one.

Typically the more time you have to spend on researching, contacting and convincing other sites to place your link the less money you would have to spend but in the end it all comes down to what you can afford, time-wise or money-wise. At $3 per permanent PR3+ link you will probably only get directory listings, word cloud listings or listings on links pages with dozens of other links (50+ is my guess).

"If what u said is true, then why not everyone buying PR7/8 links insteads of spending thousands of dollars for link building." - Everyone likes to get a deal and it takes many folks a few weeks or months till they realize that buying 500 crappy word cloud links has done nothing to increase their SERP or traffic. Then they do more research and find out that paying for quality links is the way to go for long-term success.

    Hi Friends,

Is it true that google finds out if the listing is paid one and dont consider those links?. Apart from that preferred listings are also not considered by google. Shall appreciate if someone clarifies it.

I do you services with that amount of relavent links in quality web directories. One way links are one way links, and all will help your PageRank, even if PR0.

PM me with your budget if you want.
You can always check out eBay for one way links too, but I wouldn't trust people's services because usually your link is placed on link farms (which is a big no-no in Google).
