Hey, MUSICALMIDGET would be a perfect niche domain ... for websites catering to vertically challenged musicians. Or Prince.

I guess they are offered cheap.. simply because these names have very bad recall value and not too many people would be willing to own them!

musicalmidget.com and chinamuzhu.com are okay, i guess, but the other two are just nonsense. what do you use to see they're on PR4? i checked the two and they are on PR3. the starting bid was $10 each, but its now already $30 and $15 with still a couple of days left. i doubt they will close under $50.

Whoever owns these domains should contact GoDaddy to get them to delete them asap!

Any reason why you think these are not sold by the owner himself?

If they've got any interesting backlinks it might be better to start from that as opposed to starting from scratch. Or using a redirect to your new site and make the pagerank leek over to a new site. Did anyone ever try that?

Redirection does not propagate the PageRank; Google is enough smart to prevent this to happen. I tested that in the past. I agree with you: backlinks are the real value behind those PR names anyway.
