Thanks Amy! I've added those keywords into my site. Will check it tomorrow again to see whether it works. Emailed google too regarding the ads irrelevancy.. see how it goes. Thanks for all the help guys!!! Time for bed now! Nitez!
Had a quick look and you now have ads for kilts and petticoats, pretty weird! Did you have an article on kilts or scottish themes? It must be picking up on some scottish content.
Hi 1) try to lower the size of image cartoons/jets.png and shoes/womens_60s_shoes.jpg 2) your site is wide so you need to remove about from rightside and google adsense too. Nice colors Submit your site to us
Yea, I just realize i'm getting scottish ads... lolz, the ads are going crazy and they'r making me cranky too. I'm sure there's no scottish stuff or anything that related to kilts in my content.. strange indeed..
Hi Shivam! Can you let me know which screen resolution are you on? I'm on 1024x720. And everything fits into my small laptop screen.. SEO guru mentioned about detecting the user resolution and changing the site size accordingly.. but too hard for me.. so i guess i've no choice but to leave it that way.
The ads are looking better now, for womens clothes and shoes. On my screen the site is slightly too wide.
You should have asked me for it I have the coding for it, both using css and js , or ajax, just let me know if u want them. Nah, dont worry at all, not gonna charge for them
SEO Guru!!!!!!!! That will be great!! Can you them to me pls?? Btw, do i need to adjust any of my current CSS stuff? Thanks in advance!!!
Hey MenDNA - nice looking site. I'd suggest a few changes to make it easier to navigate/read though: 1. In the main content area, see how the text abuts rights against the image. Add a bit of space between the two (most likely by increasing the margin-left value for the floating image's style). 2. The navigation bar on the left - all the different items seem to run into each other. I'd add either some space or some sort of dividing element (horizontal line, boxes, background colour change) to differentiate it all - particularly the poll section, and the subscribe now. At the moment it's a bit hard to tell what button is related to what, and people might be hesitant to push them. 3. It's been mentioned above, but resize the images for the main sections on the server, not using the "height" and "width" attributes. There are two reasons for this: 1) It decreases download time and bandwidth usage as mentioned in other posts, and 2) Web browsers only do a quick resize of the image, which doesn't produce particularly good quality. If you do the resize with a proper photo editing program (photoshop, whatever), it will resample the image when it resizes it, which produces much better quality. Hope this is of help! Cheers, Jason
