    Hey Guys,

I have an online retail store and would like to set up an affiliate datafeed for my products. Does anyone here know a good resource for me to look at to set it up? If you could point me in the right direction that would be terrific.

Thanks in advance for the help, it's much appreciated.

What format are you looking to produce the feed in? I suggest an html version to use with ssi's/IFRAME and also an xml/rss version.

I would look at feeds that similar shops (eg amazon?) use and copy their formats.

Essentially you should do whatever your affiliates are wanting.

Hi Dave, thank you for your reply.

I'm actually not familar with affiliate datafeeds, so I'm not sure what the preferred format is as we haven't officially launched our affiliate program yet. We have a couple of beta affiliates and it's going well, and now I'm looking to expand it and also get set up with an affiliate manager.

Before I do this, I'd like to have everything set up and would like to put the feed together, however I haven't been able to locate the Amazon datafeed to get a general idea of what others are doing via my affiliate account with them. Do you know what the preferred formats are, or a sample feed I could look at?

Thanks again for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it!

Personally I would prefer an xml feed as I can alter and format that as I want. A html feed would allow me to use an ssi but would not give as much flexibility.

If the scheme is new you should maybe try sign up some experienced people here and ask them exactly what tools they want and then go build them.
