    Hey

I've been trying to get this whole ringtone thing going. Went as far as creating php script that puts PPC querry into header. I'm still seeing very low conversions. I simply can't put my finger on how people get 50+ leads a day and still are able to stay profitable.

I have about 15k keywords and I use adwords, ypn and adcenter. I have about 90 negative keywords.

Why might I not be converting? Is it just me or is it just a market trend?

My main difficulty is coming up with keyword lists. How do you guys do it? I have software that goes and searches overture, google, yahoo and ask and then searches all keywords that it finds again automatically. It builds really nice lists, but it's still not as large as it can be.

So I go out and add my own list of keywords, but those keywords almost never get searched for, so I'm just wasting time creating them and uploading them.

My question is: HOW do I create large, relevant keyword lists with keywords that actually get searched? Point me to any articles, software or just give your own advice. Thnks.

I don't think the "large keyword list" is the key answer. Try to find moderate number of keywords, RELEVANT key words that have a large searched number/month with little competitors. This is the hardest part... Good luck!

There are other factors such as your ads, your site, and what you are paying per click that determine how well things convert. You need to experiment with all of them.

Having a large keyword list is good, but only part of the equation. Also, keep digging for those hidden keywords that don't get searched for a ton. Having lots of those type of keywords makes a big difference.

Well i think a big part of it is, many of the high converts get traffic by natural search also not just PPC. Dont get me wrong i see no reason why we cant get a 100 or even 200 leads via PPC but i also seem to be hitting a raod block of around 50 leads........

I wouldn't recommend ringtones for any beginner, or anyone for that matter. It is saturated to hell right now and unless you know this game inside and out you won't make money. There are plenty of other profitable niches, find one.

I noticed that other niches are as or even more saturated as ringtones. I'm a beginner and I think ringtones are a little easier for me to get started with. It's probably interest, I'm not too interested in promoting all the cc, loan, mortgage, etc. offers.

I was thinking of maybe putting this whole ringtone thing on autopilot and just pursuing other offers.
