Okay so my moms boss is from jordan and has beauty/skin products from the dead sea. (these products are being sold in the USA only) He wants me to build him a commerce website to sell his products online. If all kicks off I will be handling everything(the site, orders, shipping) and I will be getting 50% profit. Now that's got me really going but wishful thinking can be dangerous if you know what I mean. I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about these products , how popular they are and if they will sell? I just don't want to design a site and do a heap load of SEO daily for nothing. I really think it will take off decently though. He will be advertising via newspapers and possibly an affiliate network in the future.
These products seem to be quite popular, my girlfriend has bought these products in a shopping mall in the USA and we live in Ireland, so i guess there is a big market, good luck.

Such products are always popular, but even when to weren't you could make them popular with a good site and good marketing.
For sure. I thought about setting about an affiliate thing for it in the future. I might even see if boss wants to be an advertiser on a few affiliate networks. I use cxdigitalmedia and neverblueads currently.
yes you can use the products and go for the website................if you have all well settled then market your website and get a good revenue......................
set up store website asap... it takes sometime for the the search engines to rank a website highly... you will not do SEO for nothing.. at the least you can sell ads if it takes off..

Yeah from what I have researched, these products are pretty popular with a less competitive market which is a huge plus. A lot of SEO work has to be done for sure I am just so impatient, haha. I am pretty stoked on this though because I have always promoted other products via affiliate networks and such and now I will have my own product basically to get out there. There are so many possibilities with promoting this product also which is great. If anyone wants to get in on this action with me, I am looking for a partner to do this. i think it's a good niche because a lot of women are very conscious with their skin. They keep on buying different skin products. when you promote, i suggest you try marketing with postcards because you can easily track down results. You can also print your website address on it if you decided to build one.
