Make sure you get familiar with the terms / rules: https://www.digitalpoint.com/help/terms They are a bit different here than on some other forums (regarding getting "likes", paid membership, established membership, etc.).
lol, likes are where you participate in a discussion and if the "established" members appreciate your opinion/advice/etc they'll give you a "like". Once you have 3 from 3 different people (potentially all done with a single awesome post) you become "established" and can create threads in most of the Buy/Sell/Trade sections. There's nothing to stop you from doing business straight away, but you need to find someone looking for what you're selling, or offering what you need to buy.
