Hey everybody. PHP/jQuery/Computer Science guy here

Hi all. I am a 24 year old computer enthusiast who has been an enthusiast since around 1995 when my family bought its first computer. Back then it was a Packard Bell machine with a Windows 95 operating system. I made my first website in 5th grade which was a free site hosted at Angelfire (They gave you 5MB back then of storage space, WHOAAAAAAA), and have been developing and working on web stuff ever since. I just graduated with a degree in Computer Science so now I have the capacity to do pretty much anything related to a computer but I still stick with my roots which is what I love, which is web programming and development. I am extremely interested in PHP and jQuery and MySQL web applications. I like writing my own web applications instead of using things like a word press or whatever. I am still kind of a SEO n00b and I need to learn a lot more about internet marketing. I just was hired in a full time position doing ASP.NET MVC work which I am really not too familiar with so I will have to learn. Anywho. This place seems like it has a lot of expert knowledge here. I hope to post here and see what happens and hopefully learn a lot and contribute a lot too! Cheers!

I am so glad to be here. To be honest I have known about this forum for a long time (it came up occasionally when doing Google searches) and I have always found it to be very informative for things like internet marketing and SEO. I need to learn a TON more about how to properly market something on the internet. Like I said in my previous post I am very happy to be here to learn things like this and hopefully I can contribute some of what I know about PHP and other programming, and in time contribute to future newer users in regards to marketing/SEO stuff as I learn more and more about it!

EDIT: Speaking of finding out about sites via Google I think StackOverflow shows up all the freaking time when I type in questions about programming or web design. I'm not sure how they do it but they must have very good SEO/marketing techniques to get there. Anywho I am not trying to advertise them here I was extremely annoyed by that site for the longest time but now I don't think it is so bad. (i saw it so many freaking times that it just grew on me)
