This is good , but you need proper menu and good color scheme ,

 

Design is good as a starter..... why have you changed the colors of the main pic? it will look more good with its original colors, the idea of pointing the shops is good (y)

As mentioned above, the navigation needs to be fixed. It doesn't match the rest of the site's design. I'd recommend something lighter for the nav, and maybe not just simple rectangles. Go with text links, or some type of image? I would also make the background clouds image fade on the edges to give it a clear transition.
