Front page is best tool. If you know MS word, then you can easily create your pages in it.

Well, this is the worst one.

The best solution is probably using some CMS (WordPress).

I agree with the above, if you have little experience with web design, Wordpress is easiest way to get a great looking site with minimal effort. If you have some web design experience and want to go from scratch, use Adobe Dreamweaver.

NEVER NEVER use Front Page... Wordpress is awesome for creating websites with little knowledge of web design. If you want to create a site and continue as a hobby or career, pick up Adobe Dreamweaver and a book.

If you have your webhosting already then you should have website builder software available in your admin area.
coffeecup is also a good tool to build your web site:

You need photoshop to design your web, you need frontpage or dreamweaver to code it, you need to know PHP or other languages to create dynamic pages. It's all :) good luck !

    Hi there,

I agree with comments like try WordPress, but do yourself first - identify what you want your seb site to do. Don't concentrate too much on design till you have done this i.e. do you want to sell products/services/information etc. When you have this information than start thinking about how people will access it, then start looking at the design. Unless you have a good knowledge of HTML I would ignore any WYSIWYG editors as the usually put in a lot of excess code that isn't actually needed (FrontPage especially!) that's why WordPress etc. are so popular it's all built ans ready for you. The way you can change themes to suit is also important.

You must to be able in using of html and php. So, for creating web pages, you can create such platforms as Wordpress, for example. On my opinion the most important factor to have basic knoledges in html in first. If you don't have such knowledges you may use html tutorials.

This is true, you can get it from here www.bluevoda.com

Otherwise I would suggest start with already made HTML templates. There are tons at www.oswd.org

FrontPage is the worst option you can try while Wordpress is not a software but a PHP blog script people use as CMS, but if you are just starting I wouldn't recommend it.
