Hello all, Im trying badly to make my site good for any browsers, There is some stupid browsers that im not sure if someone still use them, Please can you tell me from this list: http://browsershots.org/ What is the browsers that people work with?
I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to ask. But most people I would assume work with Firefox, IE, and Google Chrome.
Yes this is my question, Im trying to fit my site for any browser and its hard, so i would like to know at least what people use. thanks.
^^^^ The most common browsers used are Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox !! Out of these FF is famous and used most. - Digital -
IE7 is the most used, IE6 and FF (2 and mostly 3) are about equal and supporting Safari would also be good idea, since many Mac users use it. But usually if site works fine in FireFox it also works fine in all other not-IEs, IE is the only browser that gives huge headaches, especially IE6.
I have used the following browsers: Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, Google Chrome and Apple Safari. But Internet Explorer is the most widely used by people, why Firefox is the most widely used by webmaster.
make sure the site will work in firefox, IE8, IE7 and if you got some time left Opera and Safari maybe Google Chrome
Just ensure it is work fine for thoe popular browser including FireFox, IE, Google Chrome, Apple Safari and Opera. 95% of the user are using them
Now a days mostly people use Mozilla Firefox and after that safari, opera,Chrome and IE. So if your site looks perfect at above all browsers you have done. DON.
I was getting ready to make a post saying that I disagreed with Deludon, but then I did a search and saw that the latest statistics on w3schools shows that Firefox this year has surpassed IE. I guess our clients are still playing in the "older people" niches then, because statistics for the campaigns that we run are pretty consistently showing that IE is beating Firefox. To the OP, I would really say that it all depends on who your audience is for your niche. Older people (I realize this isn't true for every older person) tend to be less technical and therefore typically just use what "came with the computer". In that case, it would probably be IE. Younger people are more technical and respond more to "word of mouth", so they will be more likely to use the "cooler" browsers like Firefox, Opera, Chrome, etc. Obviously the ideal thing to do is make your website look right with all browsers, but when trying to decide whether to code for one of the other, keep in mind who your audience is. It can help a lot!
