    Hi.

I am very glad to join this community. Hopefully, I will improve as a writer as well as a person. A long rant/introduction of my life upcoming so feel free to skip to the last paragraph.

    Personal:
I’m 27 at the moment. I live in one of the eastern European countries. I have an amazing wife and a kid of almost a year. We live in a flat but I dream of one day moving to a house. I also study for my Masters degree. 2 months left. FINALLY.

    Work:
As work, I have been doing some various sh*t most of the time until a year and a half ago. I found the place, I am currently working. I started copywriting, filling sites with content. This was completely new for me - didn’t know what SEO was, neither social marketing nor copywriting. Nothing. Now I really enjoy it as I have freedom what to write, when to write, ect.. Unfortunately, it is mostly low-quality promotional stuff but I am On My Way to improving :)

Nevertheless, due to several reasons (company constantly lays off people, salary is barely enough to get by, etc.) I started thinking about freelance copywriting. At the moment it looks as a logical step to move forward. The main reason is that I need much less than an average person in Western European countries, U.S.,etc. At the moment I need only to generate a few hundred $ extra, to be completely safe financially. As a maximum I would imagine I am going to need is $1.5k/a month.

At this point it may sound like it is all about the money. I am not a money-oriented person but yeah, at this moment for me It is all about the money and supporting my family. Sadly, before I can move on with my work, invest in training courses and books, spend more time with my family, I have to sort out the money problems we are having at the moment. I’ve tried other things, but writing online seems to be my favorite.

    That’s the plan...

And there is always a HOW. As I said, before I can engage in training courses, I will rely on books I find online. I am half way through BSY’s Copywriters Handbook (superb. so interesting.) After that I have Valuable Content Marketing and Web Copy that Sells. Of course, I will get a website with a blog section eventually. Plus, I will be working on my portfolio as well - guest posting, testimonials, etc.

I am going to focus on having clients online (maybe some international companies in my country, as well). The thing is, I would need 3 times more clients in my country for me to earn the same as I would online.

To keep me motivated I trust Eric Thomas that I have recently found. A great motivational speaker that keeps me going. He has great series on Youtube called Thank God it’s Monday - a great way to start out a week. If you have a family, he has Thank God I’ Married series, as well. Brilliant and very inspirational.

This is the last paragraph. Welcome if you jumped from the beginning and thanks for those that stuck with me. I really hope that we will have plenty of opportunities to chat, learn from each other and have business. If you have any comments, private or public, I’d be more than happy to hear them. See you all very soon.

By the way, due to my situation, I am very open to all sorts of suggestions. For example, I would gladly write some free content for you in exchange for some feedback, and, if it is good enough, future references and testimonials.
