Probably you remember about Gary Ambrose's first "Nickelmania".

It was a lesson on Internet Marketing!

A proven concept, made many times more effective.
Take the "firesale" formula, make it very viral and ultra-time sensitive.

    This is how it's done:

Take a bunch of new, unreleased high-quality products, which marketers will absolutely crave.
Start with an extremely low price. Make the price rise just a little with every purchase.
Allow people to become an affiliate and earn 100% commisions (YES, that's 100% !)
straight to their Paypal or Stormpay account, but only after purchasing
(nothing beats instant gratification). Stress the urgency that the price is going up every hour.
And finally, the icing on the cake: A one time offer for Master Resale Rights
to the products you just bought, for only $17.

What do you get when you combine all the above cleverly planned elements?
A product that sells like crazy, with every affiliate promoting it like a madman
the very second after buying. "Notification of instant payment" FLOODING your Paypal account
    all day. It's almost unreal!

Heck, I admit that I bought "Nickelmania" mostly for the *opportunity* to become an affiliate.

After pocketing over $50 in 2 days with a small list, a few forum posts and
almost no extra effort, I realized just how well "NickelMania 2" would sell,
I'm pretty sure I will be able to at least double the money I made with the original Nickelmania

I've had a hard time selling to my list, maybe because they don't know me that much.
I'm fairly new in the Internet Marketing game, and I've made the mistake of sending too much ads
to my list. Still, Nickelmania got me LOTS of sales. I can only imagine how profitable
this product was for more experienced marketers than me. And I can only imagine
how profitable the second version will be for everyone.

Another lesson learned from an expert. I once read this one: "When the gurus talk,
shut up, take your head out and listen" (or something like that).
I learned the lesson, and I liked the money. And I will be anxiously watching my Paypal today.
Paying attention to what the experts are doing pays, literally.

    Kind regards,

    Juan Pablo Cangas

    I see a small flaw

"Take a bunch of new, unreleased high-quality products, which marketers will absolutely crave."

    If I had these...I would open a shop. :D

and why does every site like this open with "dear friend"..who the fuq are you to call me your friend? Shouldn't it be more like "dear acquaintence"..and even that is just stretching it.

    tsk tsk

What, and make a whole hundred dollars in two days? I guess it's ok if you like Top Ramen.

What exactly are you paying a nickel for? Can I get a plaque saying that I payed a nickel for nothing? I would be very proud to put this next to the pictures of my family on my mothers fireplace mantel.

I have a better idea: Send $1 to ten friends. Ask them to all send you $10 back but to ask 10 of their friends to send them $10 and $1 to you. If all goes well, and you take advantage of Social Networking sites like "MySpace" you could make some serious scratch...if your surrounded by idiots.

Is he selling spamaroni? (btw I thought spamaroni was so clever that I went and registered it).

Seriously though I hate this kind of ponzi scheme crap. Basically he is saying to sucker a few in and tell them to sucker others. Yeah that's so great!

If you have some great info products ready for sale, truly great products, people will gladly buy them for a decent price, not for dimes. If you really, for some reason want to sell info products to the Internet marketing err market, it's easier then this.

Create a bunch of info products (of high quality,) on niche market topics, set up a website, and sell reprint rights to them for say $34.95.

Yes it works. Theres a bit more too it, but the Internet marketing crowd love reprint rights. Am I saying this is the best way to make money online, no, hardly.

Wow... sorry for resurrecting the post two years down the road..

You were pretty negative guys... what you might not know is that Gary Ambrose (the guy behind Nickelmania) has made an absolute fortune from the buyer lists he has built with this method. I admit it's not a very viable business model, but as a list-building device, it's genius.

Nowadays "dimesales" are all around the place... yet most of them fail to replicate the effectiveness of the original Nickelmania. Joe Lavery recently launched a similar campaign riding on the Mass Control launch by Frank Kern... it made a nice payday for those of us that got in quick - and built a damn good list for Joe.

I don't view this strategy as a pyramid scheme really, because the products offered are really valuable.
