I'm currently learning a lot of this stuff on the Online Coaching program that Adeel Chowdhry has out now and I can honestly say that this method is proven. Awesome post.

An eye opener for me a while back was when someone broke down making a million dollars a year to me.

They simply said if you sell a $100 product you just need to make 27 sales per day and by the end of the year you will of made a million dollars.

If you think about it like that it doesn't sound too hard.

The key is in the affiliates for me...

Imagine building an army of people that did ALL the promoting and marketing FOR YOU...

All you have to do is give them a commission at the end of it And let's be honest you would have
never had that sale in the first place if they didn't get it!

That's why I'm always 100% happy when I'm paying out my affiliates!

OK so first of all there is no way that spamming or "email marketing" will ever get you 12 -20 % conversion rate. Never. I repeat Never. Maybe if you're emailing your previous customers maybe, and it's a very big maybe. Or are you talking about the conversion rate of the opened emails only? In this case it's a bit more realistic but still doubtful you'll get such results.
Second - how are you planning on getting these "hundreds" of affiliates? No serious affiliate will ever share his list with you, or send out emails on your behalf - why would he? you're the competition, he can do the same thing and make money for himself instead of you!
Unless you're a large network or affiliate program you will not have hundreds of other people working for you - and nobody accepts link building as payment.
Finally trust me - you will not have each affiliate contribute on a regular basis. you'll get guys that sign up (if they do) and never do anything for you.
The plan is outdated and irrelevant to today's affiliate marketing world.

I'm going to say this once to all the new guys -- Dont expect results with this thing.

When you're ready to work, go find a vertical that interests you, research it, and then find an established program that offers good support and payouts.
And dont expect to make this type of money right away, or any time soon, the affiliates that make sums like this, are professionals and do this full time, and have been doing this for a while.
