Tom Green is 10 times better...who in the world has the ball to ride a cow to supermarket and suck the milk out... First season of Ali G is good...but then it keep repeating itself
Weak!? This guy is amazing I love Borat! I don't think it can be weak when some of his jokes and acts have thought provoking underlining morals and opinions.
Tom Green was funny at first, it was something different, he became boring as well. Ali G and Borat can share the same Tomb as far as I'm concerned. I hear nothing but crickets chriping when they open their mouths
I dunno. I don't really know names anymore. There is a mexican (or spanish, who knows) I've seen on comedy central late at night. He's pretty funny. I like george carlin (back in the day, not now - he's not funny anymore, he's just sad), steven wright (he's the guy who is always depressed, right?). Sarcasm is usually my type of comedy. I loved Benny Hill (man, how old am I?), but I love sketch comedy too. Whose line is it (UK version was usually funnier than the US version) anyways?
Borat is my favorite comedian lol. I can't bored with his stuff... can;t wait t'ill his movie comes out in november...
I do laugh at Borat, especially in a climate of politically correctness, which is the main reason it works for me, Ali G is a bit boring now and tired/done imo. I would agree with Lorien that Who's line is it anyway (UK) was really a fav of mine, really impressive when someone makes you belly laugh with no script just pure talent and given a topic/subject/word etc. Apart from that I used to enjoy more local humour like 'Naked Video' & 'Rab C Nesbitt' but they used to supply that with subtitles to the English so I guess it was never sold across the pond Clip from the BBC
Now this really is a classic http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/articles/b/blackaddergoesfo_7770785.shtml
Borat is very funny. It is also interesting how much controversy he has stirred up. The Country he makes fun of took out a four page spread in the NY Times (at a cost of $600,000) to try and counter the damage they feel he has done to their country. One thing I like about Borat is when he makes rednecks look even funnier than they already are (see scenes where he goes hunting and singing in the bar). His interview on Conan was also very funny.
I was about to comment on how the USA might find Borat "funny", but they still dont really "get it". Then I saw: which totally screws up my argument.
