How do I allow (force) Windows to use DW as my html editor and not Word? If you go in through IE, you cannot even select DW. There is a reg hack, but it is for an older version of DW.

In addition, when I open a sites root folder and want to open all the files in the folder (or all that I select) how can I do that in DW. If I select all the files and then right click, the edit with DW option is missing. So I then select edit with DW, but that only opens a single file.

    Frustrating...

Right click any html file on your computer, goto open with, choose program, select DW and click always use this program to open these files.

That works for me in win2k so I don't know if its true in XP.

That will work if you always want to open .html files in DW, but you only want to edit them in DW, and view them in IE, for example.

I misunderstood your original post, " If you go in through IE, you cannot even select DW.". I thought you wanted to open in DW thru IE, but I guess you want to open from the shell.
