It's a review website aimed at concerned parents... www.youtheye.com I'm in the process of cloaking my links and making my sitemap, so you don't need to say anything about that Although, if you have any pointers please do tell me, any constructive criticism is welcome!
Nice. I like it But for the actual product pages you have, I think you should change the titles so that the product name shows up first in the title bar, not last. And maybe even remove the "YouthEye - Keep your Children Safe while they are online" completely from product pages. But if you're promoting this via PPC, then I guess the above won't really matter much.
Nope, I'm going to go straight into SEO if I can... I may give the bum things I've seen here a try though as well. Thanks, I'll take out that bit of the title.
I like the design of the page, What I think you should do is, after the information you've put on how the child could do something illegal in the internet, place a clear and structured TOP 3 ranking of which tool the parent should use. What I'm trying to say with is that, the way it is now, It is unclear for the viewer where to click in order to protect his child. So after the text, suggest one product, or maybe a 3 product review, you currently have a top products link in the left of the page, but it is too small, and too subtle, so many of the users won't notice it. Don't make the user search for the link, make it very clear for him/her what exactly needs to be done, which product needs to be seen. Your Current Text is: After this text.. you might add something like this:
Good job, I like the logo and all - and as a parent myself i would be quite convinced your site was really looking out for my kid. Good work
Exactly what I wanted to hear! I spent a while on the logo getting the iris just right btw. Edit: Alright, I've updated my Index with what Ripped recommended, if there is anything else that could further optimize it please let me know! Also, I need to know the basics of SEO... like what do I do with keywords? where do they go?
I like... But why do you also promote FL4I on the same site? It's so irrelevant. PleaseTake off those ads
I really love the design, You've got some great skills in making graphics, The updated page looks really good, you must be a web/graphic designer. Each product has 5 stars now as it is put, make sure you take of half a star for the 4.5 star product as well as the 3.5 product so that it matches the actual product rating In order to prevent your child from viewing a potentially harmful site, the people at YouthEye reviewed some of the most popular tools in this area for you and picked out the top 3 products: Changed the underlined part with: The YouthEye expert team reviewed also the bottom part For the above quote, I think it would be better to link to the top product rather than the top product section of you site as it is now, because you have already reviewed the top products, so it will make no sense to take the user to the top product section and confuse him. This way, you confirm which product you think is the best, so the user will have no doubts on what to choose, and will now exactly what to do.
Now the design looks very good in terms of clarity of purpose of the site and "genuineness" I really liked your designs..
Looks good, but you may want to add pictures for those recommended products. Get them for their websites.
Alright, once I get home I'll revise it like you said Ripped, and I'll see what the product website's have to offer with the images. Thanks again for your input!
Also, I see that you're linking the reviewed product, to another page in your site which provides detailed info about the product. I Think it would be better if you direct link to the sales page. Because the way it is, the user has to view the review, click the product link, read another review/description, and then go to the sales page, which is a bit too much, so IMO it would be better to link it straight to the sales page
So instead of having the review pages, just have any links to the products go directly to the sales page?
Well you already have the review pages in the front. I think it would be better to direct link to the sales page, but cannot tell you for sure what will work best. You will have to split test.. try it my way.. and try it your way.. and see what works better. It all comes down to trial and error, testing and optimization
Nice layout. My only advice is to change the header text "This website is..." When I see a ... leading into a big paragraph I just click BACK. Plus, it will be better for search.
Looks good - but would add some padding to the graphics on the review pages (as they are still linked to from the front page). I would also look at the ads you have on the site - and if you are selecting the ads to include, it would be much better to select related ads to display in the sidebar - fat loss 4 idiots is not relevant to the niche audience you are trying to attract (might be to a few, but not the majority). You could even have all the products you review on the site rotate through or randomly show up. BTW, did you do the ads yourself or using another program?
