Sitemap is a good way to let google index all your data but not the best way to get your website indexed within few hours of creation... Just my 2 cents
Add your site in Google, Yahoo and Bing as well as Sitemap to Google Webmaster Tool. It is the easiest way to get index soon. If you have a blog, post three four quality post generate rss feeds add to webmaster tool as well as add it to social networking site it is also another way to get index fast.
You can usually get indexed by google in 1-2 days with submitted a sitemap and a few backlinks from social bookmarking sites... That is, unless you have a blogspot or blogger blog - Then you're never getting indexed LOL
Thanks and +rep for you Sharpie349 I think the idea works. My friend Tony made it as a tool can easily switch to your site name. you may try this http://www.seoserp.com/fast.way.get.index/ Regards,
I would post a sitemap to google instead. If you have a wordpress blog it will be indexed within a day so really this isn't necessary.
just a few medium ranked backlinks will do it...! Ping yourself at Ping-o-matic and watch for the crawlers...
Google need to find the page with these links on your site first before it appears on those other sites. Install the Google toolbar with PR bar enabled. Every page you view in your browser will be crawled within minutes. It wont rank without backlinks and the OP suggestion may help get some although most seem to be nofollow anyway. Option 2 is to ping your pages to various update services via an RSS feed. Again Google will pick up on these.
And of course stick what ever page or site you need indexing into your signature link on DP and other well crawled forums and do some postings.. It will only take 24hrs and you links should get picked up by the search engines.
