I dont see any reason why the method that sharpie349 uses should work. Why should creating a load of links and then clicking on them some how make Google index your pages quicker ?
I prefer to simply wait and build some good backlinks for new sites. They usually index within 2 or so days and I am pretty happy with such indexing time
So how does this work? can I do this if I'm using blogger? How do I create a html file and do I just go through opening all links daily? Can I just follow the links without a html file? thanks
Thanks for the tip! Content has absolutely nothing to do with getting indexed quickly. While content is king (who cares if your site it number one in Google if there's no content there to get customers and keep them) simply getting a site indexed is not reliant on content. In a niche that I just started in the site that has the number one spot on Google is a page telling you to login to your control panel to change the site! Clearly someone jumped on to making backlinks before actually getting content up.
ofcourse a site map, if you are a blogger, post 4 - 5 Blog posts with quility articles, and submit your site map to google, I done this and got indexed in just a single day man
No, this is not true. I tested this with a page on a brand new domain, which I linked to only from a DP sig. It did not get indexed even after 3 weeks. DP sigs are useful for advertising your links to thousands of other DP members, but as an indexing strategy, the OP's method is much better.
-yess, you can use this with blogger and on any blogging platform, any domain/subdomain for that matter. - yes, posting your link in the signature helps, submitting your site to google works, so do all of these. How does this work? as you will notice, those sites are some sort of directory where they hold information about websites. So when you go to that link, they will see that they don't have your website in the database and create a page for it. Thus giving you a backlink. When you click those links to google, Google goes: "Wait a minute! I am the biggest and the best search engine in the whole wide word, so why don't I know about this site? Oh crap, some sites are linking to it already and I didn't even know about it! I better add it to my index...Done. whew, that was close." So that's basically what happens. So when you create a new site, you should add this to your checklist: - add my links in all the forums I'm active at - click on those links - submit sitemap to google
I really do not think this is needed, but if works for you then go ahead. I can add a new page to my site and google will index it in less than 5 minutes without any links pointing at it. For example, my most recent blog post for today was indexed in less than 4 minutes. I think the key here is that if you already have good links pointing at your site and update often then google will index your new page alot faster.
