Here's an easy way to find 286 Arcade link partners.

There are many arcade sites that run off of phparcadescript. You can just do a google search for inurl:index.php?action=tradelinks and you'll currently get 286 results that'll take you straight to their link exchange page.

I checked into doing an arcade site about 2 months ago, but haven't done anything yet. I too am interested if anyone is making money with one.

unfortunatly, you can not make good money with arcade games site.
google adsense pay you only 5 cents a click mostly 4 cents.

thats what happening with my arcade site.

 

I have tried this method and have found that only about 20% (or so) of the sites you submit your link to, approve your link(s). The majority do not...and the site I submitted for exchange is pr4 and good quality. It's quite a headache, in my opinion. Only a handful of the 286+ you submit to, approve.

You are expected to link back before they approve your link. So, you're linking back to hundreds of arcade sites with hopes they will approve your links. Many just never approve and you're linking to them for no reason really. You have to go back through all the links on your link pages trying to figure out which ones have approved your links.

I think many arcade owners just set and forget(setup site and just let it run).

 

I had submitted my arcade to a handful of topsites and only was approved by 2 or 3. It was a bit disappointing. I'm looking to possibly find places to find high traffic links as my traffic has leveled off as of lately.

Arcades do pay very low with adsense, you'll be looking at around 1 - 7 cents per click. They don't pay much but if you stick with your arcade you can achieve great results in the long run. One reason for this is that many webmasters simply set up their arcade site and forget about it once they see that it doesn't pay much with adsense. If you continue to build links and add content to you arcade it is very possible to get great traffic and money from an arcade.

 

From what I know arcade sites even sell well. If you don't want to stick with it just sell it for a profit.

I just checked another popular arcade script, GameScript. Using the same method you can search for inurl:index.php?page=link_trade and Google currently returns 177 results.

So that's a total of 503 possible arcade link exchanges so far.

but like sandyfeet said, if noone approves the links, then it is kinda pointless.

 

I can't tell you who will and who won't approve your link. It's all up to the webmaster. These links do take you straight to the sites link exchange page, whether they accept your link or not is totally up to them. There is only one way to find out and that is to try.
