Thanks for this significant information. So now, at least I have this idea on how to manage my twitter and how to increase my followers... Looking forward for another useful tips...
how to use that twitter karma option to find people who unfollow me , i follow about 350 people but only about 200 follow me
What this post doesn't mention is that twitter have strict anti-churn policy, which basically means they don't allow people to constantly follow and unfollow large numbers of people. It results in a ban of that twitter account and can result in an IP ban too. The best way to get more people to follow your twitter is to use http://twiends.com/?i=eddydew
Yep, in a nushell that is the original basic method that people use to get followers. "Bulk follow and bulk unfollow someone that does not follow you back" That will get you a large number of followers. But to get followers that are actually valuable, you actually have to interact with them on a personal level. There is some value however to bulk numbers. You can 'fool' unsuspecting newbies into paying you to tweet to your 'loyal' followers. Some pay per tweet systems will pay you based on the number of sheer number of followers you have. So, take your pick!
That's why i am always puzzled why there are people following me that i personally don't know. So now i i understand that they want me to follow back.
This is an approach I would never use and never advocate using. Automatically generated content will get you pegged as a spammer in the eyes of any human glancing at your stream of tweets. It's easy to tell at a glance whether someone is interacting organically with other, real twitter users, or whether they're just a bot trying to promote a site. And automatic following definitely gets you pegged as a spammer. And unfollowing those who don't follow you back is the most blatantly spammy / self-promotional tactic. When I can tell that a twitter user is using these tactics, I do not hesitate to block them and report them for spam. A large number of twitter users do the same. If twitter's automated system doesn't catch you, the users will. The only way you will avoid detection is if you're only following other spam accounts. rmeeuwsen nailed it. It doesn't matter how many numbers of followers you have, it matters who follows you. There are some key people on my twitter following who have very few people they follow, and they read every one of my tweets. There are others who have very large followings and frequently retweet items if they are relevant / interesting. The best way to use twitter is organically. Use it like a spammer and you'll only end up with spammers following you. What does it matter if you have 20,000 followers if they don't ever read your tweets and viist your URL's?
i just un-follow spammers no report.. but still this is how i did 1.set up a twitter account 2. Register on twiends to get my first followers fast. then started the natural way of tweeter. 3. Follow people in my area of intrest. 4. Follow back those that follow me and are decent. 5. monetize via http://spn.tw/r4aak
I’ve found Twiends really useful and its free, I also use Twitter-Karma to manage followers and un-followers, it’s a great tool.
