Here on DP - leaderboard vs text links?

    I noticed here on DP after the first post of a topic, there is a text link box..

    Why that instead of a leaderboard. Is it more effective ?

    Well, for some reason by instinct I caught myself clicking it lol. Alot of my CAD functions at work are at a similar height, probably why lol.

    I noticed that the text links are actually random placement it seems, and I only see a leaderboard dual if I'm logged out...

    in my opinion, the best place for the vbulletin forums is inside the first posts.

    i dont think that the adsense after the first posts is effective
