this is a valid point PPC and SEO are both marketing techniques that benefit from the disparity of knowledge and budget between big corporations and "mom and pop" types of businesses not only AdWords is overpriced, which is a barrier for small businesses, but small businesses also lack the resources to run and manage a campaign properly due to their lack of expertise or budget to hire an expert however, I don't think that Google can "help" the little guys out simply because it's a natural competitive advantage that big corps have this is a good opportunity for smaller search engines or possibly a "new Google" that's targeted at helping SMBs internet marketing good share!
