It's not bad. I personally don't like flash portfolios, and I'd rather see the work live. Still good tho.
well, i will add more of them in my portfolio. I hate using flash but that flash was the quickest i could get which is very easy to update. I just upload the pic and its on my site. Once i develop my own script for portfolio, i am definately going to remove that flash. Thanks for your visit.
Hello Hanif, First of all nice to see a fellow Muslim here Regarding your site, I think it is OK but to be honest you should remove Bismillah e rehman rahim and others from your site, because you are showcasing your portfolio not spreading the Islam. Currently it is looking like an Islamic website. Secondly this image is not presenting your image (as a designer) in a good way. It looks like you are trying to show that "hey I can do this, I can make a text look like it is coming out from the laptop". Browse some other web/graphic designers website and see how they are presenting their portfolio. Make the MAIN header image as good as you can. Your site needs lots of improvement (honestly). I would suggest to browse CSS galleries and see some nice websites there and get inspirations from there.
Thanks for the suggestions and comments. Just one thing. Writing bismillah doesnt mean i am spreading islam on my site brother (most of my clients are non-muslims) but thanks for the other suggestions i will definately try to improve the look.
Yeah, I agree, nothing against Islam, but it may alienate some people from your site. Nothing wrong with being proud, but it would be wiser to make it more universal. When I first logged onto the site I too thought it was an Islamic website.
Thanks NDRSTR. As i said earlier, Even i don't like using flash for portfolio. So soon i am going to remove that, I am just trying to finish working on the remaining parts of my site and then i will create asp script to have a good portfolio page which can be easily updated. Thanks for suggestion though.
Hmmm SCP123, Ok if you people really think i should make it more universal. I will definately think about it and do it in next version. Writing Bismillah was just, i like writing it or reading it before i start anything. But i will do something about this in next update.
Yeah, I'm not suggesting anything against Islam, but in my case, if I put a Portugal flag on my portfolio along with a few Portuguese text here and there, don't you think it may confuse people or even cause people to close the window? Just a thought. Good luck!
Actually ur right i am not saying that you are talking against islam. i can understand what you are trying to say and i will think about it in next update.
