These are very good reasons many people fail at blogging! The important thing to remember is to never give up, no matter what. Then you will surely succeed.
The main reason is that people look at a blog as a way to make money, when in reality a blog is merely a tool to promote and market a business. This is why most bloggers will never be successful. Successful bloggers are promoting a service or providing useful information in a certain niche or field that they are experienced in. "I want to make money" bloggers, are merely plopping up a website with ads and don't provide a reason for people to actually visit it. Furthermore, many "bloggers" continually putting up the same kinds of blogs as a million other spam and worthless websites and repeating information that is available all over the web from reputable sources. I've been absent from this forum for over a year and still, people are continuously plopping up "Health", "Tech", Music, Forex, and every other cliche noob website that a million other noobs do every year that have no substance and are just an excuse for ads and only have enough content to attempt trick SE spiders with a few keywords. Most new bloggers are simply chasing well paying keyword ads. They have no idea what they are doing and don't realize that they basically just have a spam site. New "make money blogging" noobs don't want to learn what makes a successful website. They are constantly looking for shortcuts and spend more time spamming the web for backlinks, than actually developing their business. Most bloggers are wasting their time and will never make a dime.
Almost all has been listed here, i cant think of any other reasons right now. I will have to agree with your last point have no interest and only wanted money. Starting i started with a interest but even after putting the work it didnt work which lead to my blogging failure.
I forgot one really important one. If you are blogging and looking to attract an English speaking or American demographic and your English is broken and just all around shitty, you will fail miserably. Being able to speak English (the way Americans speak it) somewhere else and being able to write in English for an American audience are 2 different things. No one is going to applaud your effort anymore than if I blog in a language that is not native to me and it's full of mistakes and bad diction. Many Americans don't have much patience for people who don't speak English well. I'm not saying it's fair. I'm just telling you how it is. From what I see this isn't any different in any other country. Sure, we don't mind talking to people who have broken English, but we are definitely NOT going to read it. If this is your situation, either get someone to help you write your articles properly, or get better. Take a class. But you will not attract native English speakers. Think of how the most extreme people in your country view Americans. It goes both ways. As long as Americans know that abroad we are seen as "those greedy Americans" they will never trust anything that comes from countries like Pakistan, China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Russia, and many times India. We also know that these countries are where most spam comes from. Americans are impatient, judgmental and paranoid of identity thieves, crooks and malicious scripts online and they will associate your blog with every scam online because most scams online come from outside of America. Because we have laws against them inside America. We also want to do business with Americans. Unless we can get it cheaper, safely, somewhere else. Smart Americans will not do business with someone abroad that they can't find or sue or that are in a country that doesn't enforce or have the same kinds of laws that we do. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we are free from crime. I'm saying that Identity thieves and malicious activity specifically targets Americans and we know it. So we don't trust anything that isn't written well because we associate it with scams. My advice. Write what you know and target an audience that you know. Or hire someone to help you attract the audience that you want. Last but not least: Stop using ".info" extensions and thinking that anyone will take you seriously. It's been ruined. Everyone associates it with spam and people like us know that you probably got it for free or cheap. And free blogging platforms: They can work for people who are well known outside of their blog. They will not work for you. If you can't be bothered to invest in self hosting your own website, don't expect anyone to take you seriously. You will NEVER make any money online by only using all free stuff. Free hosting, free domain, free themes...you are kidding yourself. Especially if you don't have any other skills to supplement it...Can't code. Don't know design. Don't know Wordpress well. Can't write. And have no expertise in any subject. It's not good enough for now until you make some money to invest. Ask how many people that has actually worked out for. If you don't have any money to invest in your own business, get some. Free and cheap is not going to cut it on today's web.
wow, really an informative reply. However I would note one thing. lots of blogs are in English, but it does not mean they were created for Americans, or for English natives. But also for other people from foreign countries that are looking for some information rather in english than in their own language, and they don't care about how the article is written, if in British or American English. The main criteria then for such article is simplicity and usefulness.
Good point. I have come to understand this in the past few years. And here on the forum it's hard to know that, especially when people ask for reviews of their blog, or tips. The first thing a native English (or American) speaker will assume is the first problem is how it is written.
Hi. I think blogging is the best idea to make your presence in web world. It's also very important in seo. But blogging must be done in dofollow blogs, so that oout going links get values.
I'm agree with you..There are lots of people succesfully make money with blogging but much more people fails to earn money with blogging..I think the main reason they fail is they don't know the right way to make money online blogging..And the others are too fast to give up, don't want to work hard....and many more..
