Hello, Looking for an appraisal on this domain. I've just purchased it based on some recent exposure of Last.fm. And I think the .FM world is starting to heatup. "Her" can be anything from an Adult site, to Female vocal artist site (with streaming audio). Can I get some advice, and a rough estimate please. Thank you.
It's a very limited market of possible buyers, however, the right one may pay something decent. You see how vague I am in my appraisal? That is how that domain presents itself. It might, or it might not. It would better if it was she.fm I wouldn't just take any old price for it just yet. I would develop it . Your market of possible buyers is small, and it is internet radio. So, a site reviewing radio shows that cater to a female audience, with links , schedules, and times to those shows, should be your development plan. After that, you may find that you don't want to sell it , if you market it right, and start making some coin. Alone, it is up to who is looking to develop that specific market.
Hi Hmansfield, Thanks for the reply. I know exactly what you mean. Can be huge if developed correctly. I took a chance on several .FM domains, in hope the market would eventually catch up. With the recent news coverage of "last.fm", I'm taking the chance early to hop on these extensions. You are totally right about developing it to maximize the potential profits. yeah depends on how the online radio market develops. I think it is a great domain name though...if people start listening to online radio more it could be the number one station for women to listen to. great ad revenue possible. I would not make it an adult site though if I were to develope would make it a women's music/women's talk radio site with ads for expensive shopping stuff/fashion on there or something...not sure exactly
