    Hello laxmi,

    It depends on you whether you wish to host a blog or a website.
    They will only allocate you some space, & give you a domain name & you can host anything (within their T.O.S) in your account.

    it does not depends on domain that it is blog or a website
    you can create any of them
    for blog best way is to install wordpress
    free blog script

    i want to start new blog for hosting.i have one more question.by installing wordpress plugins does it become blog?

    suppose i bought a domain at www.1and1.com or www.lunarpages.com and did not install the wordpress script or blog software.then is it blog or website?:confused:

    It'll most likely be a parking page, unless they provide web hosting with it (which I don't think they do)

    Before you create a blog or a website, you'll need web hosting, which can be brought from either 1&1 or LunarPages (or even one of the hundreds of webhosts here on DP :D)

    If you do not install wordpress, then you will just have a website. To make it a blog, you (or your web host) must install wordpress :)

    Does that explain it?
