    A friend is looking for some websites that pays for writing articles, preferably sports, travel, and adveture related.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Tell your 'friend' he can try places like GetAFreelancer.com, Elance.com etc. No website I know of pays just for writing articles. Quality standards are everywhere. If your 'friend' is just starting out, he can offer his services in the BST forums on here. It won't pay off very much but it'll be a good start and he can also add to his portfolio before doing anything on a larger scale.

    New writers can often earn more (writing articles on any subject) by writing for a site like www.AssociatedContent.com. I'm not a fan, but the pay is often better than what you'll see here, and you don't get odd keyword inclusion requests that don't make sense, and you don't work under any deadlines but your own.
