Help!

Ok, so I had my forum in www.mysite.com/forum

But I decided to change that so the forum is the sites domain www.mysite.com by moving all the files to the root directory

Now how can I redirect all my old pages?

Heres an example:
www.mysite.com/forum/announcements-f1.html

TO

www.mysite.com/announcements-f1.html

also needs to done with the posts, can someone help

Im pretty sure this is done with mod rewrite correct?

RewriteRule ^/forum/([a-zA-Z0-9\\\/\.\-]+)$ /$1 [L,NC]
