    I want to make it more SEO Friendly and so people and add articles without spamming.

    turn the clean url's on , i think it's somewhere in the settings

    Configuration->Initial Configuration->Clean URLs

    Clean URL's already are on.

    I am really wanting to make it more of an article directory as I don't have time to post on it anymore.

    I want so people can sign up easily and post but don't want spam
