    I’m stuck
Hello, I’m thinking of starting a website that streams Televisions shows and the thought of being sued without getting permissions of using the show came to mind.
How can I start such a project? Legally without breaking any copyright rules because I am really clueless.

    Here an example:
I want to stream a show like "Family Guy": every past episodes.
How can I get permission or proceed legally?

    Thanks in advance

For the "Family Guy", I believe you would have to contact FOX Broadcasting to obtain the rights. Note that the rights almost certainly would cost $$$$.

As Nonny said, you must contact the broadcaster and get their okay. Likely you won't, but that would be the proper procedure to follow. Make sure you have your attorney review all of the paperwork if they agree to proceed and then be prepared to hand over the network a big fat check on a regular basis.
