Hello all, I've currently been writing my Media coursework blog via Wordpress, I have added a SEO Plugin called "SEO Ultimate". But although I've put keywords in and descriptions and ALL of my articles so far have meta descriptions etc I've noticed my site still hasnt come up on Google, Is there any reason for this? Your web site is still new, almost one week old, thus you need to be more patient. Also, ranking for a keyword is not easy specially when a web site is new, so you need to work on your web site more, and to build targeted back links for the keywords you want to rank for, it will take some time until your hard work pay off.
Get the ball rolling by submitting your site to a couple of directories and make some nice comments on blogs in your industry to get your site indexed in google. You may as well get a couple of real visitors this way, long before you'll get some google traffic which naturally can take some time.
