Hello, Everyone know that to upload music clips on Youtube is copyright infringment. But my idea is what if I upload hits, but from live concerts(I mean that fans can do on concerts with camera), with my affiliate link? And what if I hire someone to sing music clip, and I upload it with my affiliate link(cover)? Thank you in advance.
Those are both copyright infringement. In the case of a video of a concert, only the music copyright holders have the right to produce such a video (some groups specifically allow fans to record at shows, most do not). In the case of hiring someone else to sing, only the copyright holder has performance rights, so the same situation applies. Will anyone actually sue you over it (espcially if you are not making money from it)? Prrobably not, but it is possible. Most likely a takedown notice will be sent to you/YouTube, but technically what you want to do is illegal.
Thanks for that information "some groups specifically allow fans to record at shows, most do not" If they allow, does it mean I can upload such a video, and if yes can I put my affiliate link?
It depends on what the affiliate link is for. If it goes to a site where you are selling something, then no. Bands that allow recording do so with the stipulation that the recordings cannot be used for commercial purposes. If your site is merely informational and you are trying to get traffic, then probably.
