Hello, i have been working on this design, please have a look http://colibri.itbol.com/

I can see the site's fonts with no problem, two other friends said that the fonts are showing correctly, but there are 2 other people that says the fonts are not showing correctly, they only see big ugly fonts, like roman font, when it is supposed to be a nice "Freestyle Script" font for the left menu and "Century Gothic" font for the content.

I sudgested to use firefox and to check the tools -> options -> Fonts&Colors-advanced-> "allow pages to choose their own fonts" but they still had the same problem.

I dont understand about how this fonts are shown, im not sure if the fonts are suppose to be server sided, meaning that you dont need to have that font type in your computer as long as the server has it, or if you actually need all your visitors to have that type of font installed on their computer to see a font correctly...or what.

So please let me know if you can see the site correctly, or if you have experienced this problem before and how did you solve it, and if you have any comments about it please make them.

Edit : Please leave a quick reply to let me know if you could see the site correctly or not.

    Thanks for your time.
    David.

As you have pretty much stated yourself, the font you're using is not supplied with XP so lots of people won't have the font and the web browser will try to use a similar font. You could always change your font to a more common one or just use an image of the text ><.

You may want to look into SiFR if you want to use non-standard fonts for your headers. Bear in mind I do not consider it to be useful (or even appropriate) for your main body copy, but for headers it can work wonders.
