    I just installed and now i can't figure out how to keep my images by the posts. Does someone know a way to keep these there permanently and if not how do i remove that completely so it won't show the blue line with a ?, i'd rather have nothing there.

    Thanks

    Hi bigove73! I'm making the same kind of sites as you are. I had the same problem more then once. It's a problem with the wp_thumbnails script for content that is fetched outside your site. I presume you are using WP Robot. The problem with pictured and the automatic thumbnails feature you have with church theme is that it can only auto-tumbnail images that are hosted on your website. WP - Robot fetches images from outside sources ( like Flickr ) and it can't display them on the thumbnails section of the featured top left, right , bottom widgets.

    The only work around that i have found to solve this problem is to go to each individual post and link directly to the image from my website directory using the custom fields panel. Here's how:

    1. Go the the post that you want to display with thumbnail images.
    2. Go to edit post and search down in the custom fields panel :
    3. Hit "Add new custom field" and add "thumb" into the Name field and your image url in the Value field.

    ex: "thumb" / Name ----> "yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads/images/yourimage.jpg"

    4. Edit the post and update.

    This should be it. If you did not fully comprehend how to do this , check out this tutorial on youtube: outube.com/watch?v=By_aQHzpkGA&feature=related

    If you want to not display thumbnail images on the front page at all , you simply need to deactivate this feature in each the featured top left ,right bottom widgets in your display panel.
