    There's a plugin called PodPress: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/podpress/

    You can easily embed videos on your blog using that- I don't know exactly what features it has now because the last time I used it was about a year ago, but it worked great for me at the time.

    Do you mean by not using PodPress? Are you hoping to simply embedd a converted .flv and have a flash player?

    If you have the rights to put in the clips why not use YouTube and then simply embed the clips in your wordpress posts? It is the easiest way to do this. If you want to stream your own clips you will pay a lot on bandwidth
